Predator Grey Scale Camo AR 15 chambered in 7.62×39

Cerakote Projects, Rifles
Our coating project this round is a grayscale version of the Predator Stencil Set. We custom blended several of the color layers to make this an one off original AR 15. To add to the effects we included a RedDot sight, micro LED light and side mounted backup sights, each mount is coated with the base black. The base coat is a custom color mix using Armor and Graphite black. We followed up with 3 more color layers using BattleShip Grey, Smith and Wesson Grey and a custom mix of Sniper and Combat Grey as our final coat.     The barrel, flash arrestor and all the pins and controls have the base color applied and the magazine has the theme incorporated in to it making this a true work…

We The People

Cerakote Projects, Rifles
It not yet the Fourth of July but anytime is a good time to show your patriotic side with a We The People AR 15. This weeks project is our standard $500 AR package with a 2 color and stencil Cerakote artwork. The total cost for this AR 15 is $720.00 and can be purchased from us directly or come by and see us at the Melbourne Gun Show or if you have your own firearm it will be $220.00 for the complete job.   We custom mixed both colors so you won't find this shade sitting on everyone's shelves. The pattern is a tattered American flag spanning the entire length of the firearm.    On the right side across the lower receiver and down on to the magazine is the…

Predator AR15

Predator AR15

Cerakote Projects, Rifles
This week's build is a Predator AR in Bengal Tiger at Night Camo. We started out with a FEDARMS FR15 with a 10" floating rail. The barrel has a 8:1 twist and is chromed lined and included in the build is a standard 30 round PMag. This build takes 4 cerakote color layers to complete. Each coat has to be oven cured before moving on with the stenciling and follow up coats. Desert Gold Desert Sand OD Green Sniper Grey   After laying down the first layer of Desert Gold we used a honeycomb mess during the second color adding a texture into each of the stripes onec the stencils are placed.   During the stenciling the AR15 is lightly reassembled so that the stencils can be placed across multiple…

Matrix AR 10 Recoating

Uncategorized
[caption id="attachment_310" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Matrix AR 10[/caption]   This job is a recoating of Burnt Bronze after a botched assembly left the firearm marred up pretty bad. This job will require the AR10 to be full stripped down to its components, cleaned and coated before being reassembled.   The Damage The gas block was hammered pretty hard. The roll pin was hammered into place with a screwdriver from the looks of it. Both sides were marred up pretty good. Then we had a few blemishes to clean up.   The owner of this AR10 said that a local Tactical Shop assembled this firearm for him from parts purchased across the Internet. He reports that the shop returned his AR10 in this condition after assembly. We will not post the…

Cerakote S & S Air Cleaner for Harley Davidson Street Glide

Cerakote S & S Air Cleaner for Harley Davidson Street Glide

Cerakote Projects, Harley Davidson, Motorcycles
Cerakote Harley Davidson Parts Today my project is a fairly easy one. I am going to start to take off old dull and worn parts on my Harley Davidson Street Glide and give them new life. The first on the list will be a leaking front brake reservoir lid and the aftermarket S & S Super air cleaner. Project Highlights I removed the cleaner from the bike and did a full degreasing scrub on it to get off most of the heavy oils. The cleaner is chromed which tends to be pretty hard. We have to scratch up the surface with blasting material (Aluminum Oxide) so that the cerakote has something to hold on to. After blasting I gave it a long soak in acetone before baking off the acetone and prepping for…

MKA 1919 Match Annihilator cerakoted in Magpul Flat Earth

Cerakote Projects, Shotguns
Here is our original MKA 1919 Match The Akdal MKA 1919 is a gas operated, semi-automatic shotgun that resembles the M16 rifle and mimics the layout and placement of some of the controls. It was created by Turkish company Akdal Arms. The MKA 1919 Match is a Turkish-made, box magazine-fed semi-auto shotgun styled similarly to an AR rifle  and popular in the Open division of 3-gun (or Unlimited in 3-Gun Nation) competition.   Lets transform a MKA Match into a True Annihilator! This project starts out as your standard MKA 1919 Match Turkey Annihilator. The one we got was from a local BSO deputy here in Brevard Co. Florida. He received it from the importer here in Rockledge, Florida for reason not shared with our team.  We took in the…

Custom Cerakote CoastGuard Colt 1911 For My Father

Custom Cerakote CoastGuard Colt 1911 For My Father

Cerakote Projects, Pistols
This was a project for Father's Day 2017, take my father's Colt 1911 and give it a makeover in a Coast Guard theme in recognition of his many years of service.  The pistol is getting my rendition of  a "Night Ops" Navel digital camo coating and followed up with a set of Magpul CoastGuard embossed grips. A Little About My Father This is my Dad, well a very much younger version of him sporting game for the ladies on the beaches of Biloxi Mississippi back in the 1960's. My father was in the Air Force for 4 years before moving over to the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. He is much older now (of course) and retired from military service but few years back he was reminiscing about having a Colt 1911 45.cal. My father…
